It was really special hearing that for the first time along with our guests. A number of guests also complimented the ceremony saying it was the loveliest they had ever attended – a true credit to you!
You made the entire process so seamless from our first meeting to the big day, and we really appreciated how organised and responsive you were! Wedding planning can be quite stressful but you were so calm which really took away some of our nerves. We were also blown away by your gorgeous wedding keepsake box – thank you.

We absolutely loved that our love story was a special surprise — it was beautifully presented and our family and friends agreed!
We got married at The Refinery in June and we are so happy that we chose Genene to be our celebrant for our wedding day. After our first initial call with Genene, we didn’t have to think twice about it so we locked her in straight away!
Genene is incredibly organised, structured and detail-oriented. During the planning process, we knew exactly what she needed from us and when. She even checked in on us through zoom a few times (as we’re based in Europe) and met with me for a coffee when I visited Brisbane a few months before the wedding. This gave us so much peace of mind and meant we didn’t have to think much about the ceremony as we knew she had it all under control.
On the day, Genene delivered a beautiful ceremony and love story about us. A few of our family/friends asked to us before ‘you don’t know what she’s going to say in your love story and you’re okay with that?!’ — from our perspective, we had no concerns at all. From the beginning, she made us feel like she understood what we wanted and so we put a lot of trust in her. We absolutely loved that our love story was a special surprise — it was beautifully presented and our family and friends agreed!
We highly recommend Genene as a celebrant — her attention to detail, organisation and small personalised touches truly make it extra special.
